Liberation war


People in Bangladesh have ascertained their identity through language motion in 1952. The struggle to establish their identity and their national spirit began shortly after 1947 when they realized that under Pakistan created the two-nation theory, they had few opportunities for distance Banglees culture to flourish. Government's refusal to grant status to Bangla language has become the focal point of the match, because the language was the most important vehicle of cultural expression of the people in this country.

The Pakistani army began their genocide by attacking innocent Bengalis in Dhaka. Residents of Dhaka never faced these days intolerable. The Pakistani army massacred 35,000 Bengali intellectuals and unleashed a brutal war against the Bengalis of East Pakistan to prevent their secession. But no one leaves the dream flag surrounded by crumbling to dust.

In the ensuing battle nine months approximately three million Bengalis were killed and ten million refuges fled to India Sheikh Mujib was imprisoned in West Pakistan. The Bangladesh government in exile was established. The campaign took place in december and lasted only ten days. The Indian army launched a massive offensive against the Pakistani forces to support the free movement of Bangladesh. On 16 December 1971 gave the Pakistani army.
